Travelpod has a traveler IQ test that is a fun little quiz game.
I went to a presentation by the founder of travelpod at the Ottawa BarCamp last year and he said that the game was a huge driver of traffic to the site as well as a source of new members.

Having read a few travel blogs, I'm not sure I agree with the premise "Because your trips deserve a travel blog".
I remember when I was a kid, I enjoyed the well-produced, professional travelogues we sometimes went to, but not so much your average friends' or neighbours' vacation slideshow.
Same thing, different era.
The game was kind of fun, though.
I think the site really only comes into its own if you have a friend who is away on a long (ie multi-month) trip. Also it would be more useful for keeping up with your friend as they travel rather than reading when they get back.
Of course in my day we just had postcards.
