Lifehacker has an interesting idea to keep your keys and moneyclip together. It won't work if you have too many keys or with modern car keys but still an interesting idea.

Interesting, but part of the reason I went to a money clip was to separate valuables to reduce the single point of failure that was my wallet (and to spread the load among pockets).
With this, I could lose my keys taking out my money, or vice versa.

The point of failure would be even worse if your keys were attached to your id thus providing your address.
